Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest-
and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man.
Proverbs 6:6-11
"Painted" and "Ant", two silly words which do not seem to go together very well at all. Let me see if I can explain how it came about.
The ant, as you can see by the Bible verse to the right, is quite an amazing creature. It never ceases to work, whether it is digging, or foraging, or tending to others. Constantly on the move, constantly serving, constantly seeking. Ants are direct, decisive, innovative and risk-taking problem solvers. If there was one single creature in God's creation I could associate myself with, it would be the humble ant.
The word "painted" carries a huge meaning to me, one which is hard to place into words sometimes. To me, being painted means that I am covered by the blood of Christ. Jesus died for all of us, and only by his blood are we redeemed.
I feel that it is important that you understand what it is that drives me to do what I do. But it's not about me, it is about Him. I give Him all the glory, for providing me with the inspiration, ideas, knowledge, insight, persistance, and the blessings to do what we do. I thank God for each customer who utilitizes my services, as with each new customer I can be part of an effort to help expand the Kingdom of God.
I also feel that I need to warn you, I'm not your ordinary everyday Christian. I consider myself to be a Renegade for God. As a Renegade for God, I do not like sitting on the sidelines watching things happen. I want Jesus to place me on the crest of God's new wave. I won't be here long so I dedicate my life to fulfilling God's divine design for me. At times it is difficult to know where I'm heading, but I steam ahead knowing that God is in control of my life and through Him I can accomplish the goals.
John 19:34 - Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
